  1. What is included in my gift box order?
    Classic Collection packages come with a hand covered collectible box, sterling silver charm, fresh flowers and a freshly baked cake. The Petit Cadeau and simply cakes come with one fresh flower charms are not included.

  2. When should I place my order if I want to send or receive it on a specific day?
    Orders must be received a minimum of 48 hours (2 days) prior to shipping date. Orders are shipped Monday through Thursday (via UPS Priority Overnight or by Canada Post Priority Courier)

  3. How is my gift shipped? How much does it cost to ship? How will I know what my shipping charges will be?
    Your gift package is shipped overnight across Canada and the US via UPS or Canada Post depending on destination and whichever is least expensive and will guarantee next day delivery. For Winnipeg proper, deliveries are made via local courier at a rate of $8.00 + GST (outside of the perimeter there may be additional mileage charges). Lilyfield Cakes will confirm via email or fax or phone the shipping fees after an order has been received and processed UPON REQUEST. Shipping fee quotes can also be requested before an order is received with the correct postal or zip codes.

  4. Do you ship to the UK, Europe and Asia?
    Yes we can ship to most countries that UPS ships to with a 2 or 3 day service. There may be additional duty charges involved with these shipments so we suggest that customers contact us with specific address information and we will inquire if there are extra costs involved.

  5. Do Lilyfield Cakes contain nuts? When are they baked? Are they frozen?
    The cakes do not contain nuts but are baked in a kitchen that may contain nuts or nut products. Each Lilyfield Cake is baked fresh the morning that they are to be shipped. They are never frozen.

  6. Are the flowers real on the outside top of the box?
    No

  7. Are the flowers on the outside of the box the same as in the photo?
    Yes

  9. Are the flowers fresh/real, inside the box?
    Yes

  10. Are the fresh flowers inside the box the same as in the photos?
    Fresh flowers will vary from the photo due to seasonal availabilty as well as highest quality available.

  11. Where is Lilyfield?
    Lilyfield is located just outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba (good luck finding it on a map!)

  12. How do I store the cake? How long does it last?
    A Lilyfield Cake will last up to 10 days if stored in a covered cake plate or with aluminum foil.

  13. Any suggestions on how to make the flowers last longer?
    We recommend removing the ribbon and snipping the stems of the flowers. Put them in warm water. We think they look FABULOUS in a teacup and saucer!

  14. When ordering a Lilyfield Cake should I notify the recipient to expect a parcel?
    Yes, as this gift is a perishable item, it is necessary to be sure that the individual you are sending it to will be at home to receive it or that they have left instructions for the courier. ie. leave it with a neighbor, etc. (Note: For gated communities a "gate code" is required when ordering a Lilyfield Cake.)

  15. How big is the cake, how many people does it serve?
    All our Lilyfield cakes are the same size, the Petit Cadeau included. They are baked in a 7" tube pan and they serve 8 to 10 people.
